An epic Swiss Journey
To walk almost 15000 km, from Wilderswil/Switzerland to Cagayan de Oro/Philippines and all for charity is quite an effort and accomplishment. That is what Thomas did. He is the Founder and President of IKP ISLAND KIDS PHILIPPINES foundation a children welfare and rescue operation in Northern Mindanao.There was quite some media attention and we from the FRACHTforward initiative contributed our share.In cooperation with the SWISS CLUB Manila we sponsored a dinner and gave Thomas a chance to share his experiences during his 21 months marching from continent to continent.
“Food is generously sponsored by FRACHTforward….even Wilhelm Tell would agree that’s a fair deal” the Swiss Club commented in its promotion.
All proceeds of the event went to the Foundation supporting this noble cause for the benefit of many poor, marginalized sick, even abused children.
