Management is closely monitoring the situation also in the Philippines as well the implications caused by COVID-19. We are aware there is a real risk of infection and disruption of business.
Fracht Shanghai is updating us on a daily bases. There are signs that in China the worse might already be over, yet the economic impact might be felt for quite a while.
We are closely following announcements by the local authorities and all instructions are strictly enforced within the company as well as in our dealing with our customers, partners and agents.
The nature of our business allows us to reduce presence at the office or all together suspend and work online at home. Our staff is prepared for such a scenario. Operations at the airport, pier, customs and shipping lines fully depends on actions implemented by these parties.
We also can assure that the same holds true for all FRACHT FWO offices all over the world. All have assured to keep operations up.
We are still at the point of “business as usual” and gladly address any concern you might have. Any inquiry on the matter are welcome and fullest assistance as required is assured.
Happy New Year to all. For the Fracht group it is the 65th. Indeed quite an accomplishment, not many in our industry have so many years of experience to be humbly proud of. “…..but it is “only” a bus-stop in a hopefully very long history still to come. We definitely want to see three digits….” the second generation CEO, Ruedi Reisdorf said in his new year’s greetings. Best wishes and many more successful years to come.
