Did you know that the land area of the African continent is 3 times bigger than the cumulated land area of China + USA ?
Today this continent represents 18% of the worldwide population with 1,4 billion inhabitants.
By 2050, while the worldwide population is going to decrease, the African population will triple.
FRACHT Group has its own offices in 16 different countries in Africa and all of them participated to the creation of this Newsletter.

FWO meeting 2022 in Paris
Everyone knows, the Paris Agreement (also known as the Paris Accords or the Paris Climate Accords) is an international treaty on climate change adopted in 2015
Maybe pure coincidence that the 2022 FWO meeting took place in Paris and the 150 delegates from the whole Fracht World signed a pledge to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Quite Paris Agreement, too.
The meeting taking place from 1st to 3rd April was filled with an extensive program of workshops during which bilateral deliberations on direction and strategy as well as the future of logistics business took place.
The owner and CEO of the Fracht World Organization, Mr. Ruedy Reisdorf commented in his closing statement:
In our company rules and the way forward are not made by one, but by all of us and this is, why it’s working so well. Let’s continue this journey. We will come up with a lot of ideas and initiatives.

Increasing cost of sea freight, shortage of containers require new solution in all directions The first Fracht Charter Block Train ChongQing -Duisburg, Voyage : 636 departed on 10:00 am ,Aug.14th 2021.
The 11,179 km route takes 13 to 16 days to reach Duisburg from Chongqing, compared to the 36-day container ship transport time as well as being safer and less expensive, according to Chongqing authorities.

FRACHT CHINA AT HAINAN EXPO 2021 7th to 10th May 2021
It was a great honour that Fracht was invited to participate in Swiss National Pavilion on the 2021 China International Consumer Products Expo (Hainan Expo).
On June 1, 2020, Chinese authorities released the Overall Plan for the Construction of Hainan Free Trade Port (“the Masterplan”), a large-scale plan to transform the entire island province – Hainan into a Free Trade Port (FTP) – making it the largest special economic zone in China. The overarching theme of the plan is to liberalize the cross border flows of trade, investment, capital, personnel, transport, and data. The Masterplan lays out a four-stage timeline for achieving different stages of development:
Hosting China International Consumer Products Expo (in short: Hainan Expo) is part of the “Masterplan”. Along with China International Import Expo (CIIE), China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), and China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), Hainan Expo will become one of the four major exhibition platforms for China’s all-round opening up.
Switzerland was invited as the only Guest Country to host National Pavilion by the Hainan Provincial Government and Hainan IEDB.
