International Coastal Clean Up 2024

The International Coastal Cleanup activity on Saturday, September 21, 2024 has collected a total of 350,000 kilos of garbage in the nationwide coastal cleanup participated by 74,000 volunteers.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) led the initiative as part of the International Coastal Cleanup Day celebration.
DENR Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga and DENR-NCR OIC Regional Executive Director Atty. Michael Drake Matias led the cleanup at the Dolomite Beach in Pasay City.
According to the DENR, this also shows the commitment of the communities to work together for a cleaner environment.
In the spirit of the FRACHTforward concept the STAMM TeamĀ  joined the cleanup drive.
ICC is a global initiative that aims to encourage communities to clean up coastlines and demonstrate the importance of protecting marine ecosystems.
