10th March 2025: In the tradition of our Basel based HQ we celebrated also this year the traditional “Morgestraich”. Organised by the Swiss Club Philippines, Sponsored by FRACHTforward, 10 am Manila time (4 am in Basel) the opening of the 3 days festive celebration was enjoyed by a group of friends of Basel lead by HE Dr. Nicolas Bruehl (Ambassador of the Confederation of Switzerland to the Philippines)

Thanks to the local TV Station “teleBasel” live connection with the City was established. The traditional flour soup, cheese- and onion tart was again prepared by the culinary experts of Le Delice Restaurant who by coincidence celebrated its 27th anniversary the same day. Not less traditional is also the legendary white wine donated by the Swiss Club. Proceeds went to Educational support Program of NACSEARelief.
The Basel Carnival (Basler Fasnacht) was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2017 marking it significance as a unique cultural tradition.
